Locating the OSHA Hearing Conservation Training Videos

This articles covers how to administer the required training to individuals in the hearing conservation program. Soundtrace has prepared a 6 minutes video hosted on YouTube that covers all of the required topics in the OSHA hearing conservation program.

We recommend the employee watches the video prior to receiving the audiogram. This can be the day before, earlier in the day, or right before the audiogram is administrated.

 How is record of the training being watched by the employee? \n

As part of the pre-audiogram testing workflow, there is a questionnaire that asks the employee if they have received their OSHA required training on the hearing conservation program.

 

If the employee selects 'YES', then a record will automatically be created in the training section of their employee profile. This record will indicate the sign-off date, which evidences that the employee confirms they have been trained. This meets the requirements set forth by OSHA.
