How to Run a New HDP Fit Test for an Employee

Follow the steps below to run a new HDP Fit Test on an employee:

1. Navigate to the Employees Page
   Log into the system and go to the Employees page from the main menu.

2. Find the Employee
   Use the search bar or scroll down the list to locate the employee you want to run a fit test on.

   

3. Access the HDP Fit Test
   Within the selected employee's profile, click on 'HDP Fit Test', then click the black "Run New Fit Test" button.

4. Connect the Audiometer
   In the popup window, click "Connect to Audiometer" and select the appropriate connection method (USB or Bluetooth).

5. Select Frequencies to Test
   Under the Frequencies Tested section:

   1. If there is a previous baseline to use, click "Use Last Audiogram'' and proceed to step B. If not, please run the test first without hearing protection. To do this, click the green button ''Run w/o HPD'' 

   2. Click the green button ''Run w/HPD'' 

6. Enter Required Data
   At the top of the screen, enter the following information:

   • NNR only from the published NNR of the earplug

   • Make and model of the earplug

   • Reason for the fit check
     (Optional but valuable: Enter the employee's noise exposure value if available.)

7. Submit the Test
After completing the test and entering all required data, click Submit to finalize the fit test.
